Quality Inn Raton, NM

Very friendly staff. We stayed overnight on our way to Colorado. Room was adequate and clean. Not enough outlets. Ice machine was broken. No snacks or drinks in the vending machines. Indoor pool & hot tub were nice. Breakfast was mediocre. Probably wouldn’t stay here again

We stayed one night on our way through. The room was clean, roomy, quiet and comfortable. The rate was cheaper than some of the other surrounding hotels. The guest attendant was pleasant. It is pet friendly although we were not traveling with our pets.

We were checked in by Delilah, upgraded to a king bed room because we are Choice Privilege Platinum Members. We were given a room with a large vanity outside the bathroom, a desk, an easy chair, comfortable bed and pillows, good linens, good shower, and a clean carpet. Breakfast was good, sausage links, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, breads, juices, and coffee.

Reasonable price. The Best Western next door is $70 more. Basic room. Plenty of room to sleep and get ready in the morning. Breakfast was okay. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and bread. Coffee available all day. Would have been nice to have a curtain that closed completely instead of just a sheer.

If I could give less than one star I would. The hotel had an eight.6 rating on ***********. I absolutely am super careful about bugs and dirty places. We checked into this hotel and immediately did what we always do... We stripped the beds and started looking to make sure there were no bedbugs. What we found was absolutely DISGUSTING! The phone look like it hadn't been cleaned ever... And had sticky food on it. There were some kind of bugs under the mattress on top of the dust ruffle. In the creases of the mattress behind the headboard were food and crumbs and hair etc.... there were crumbs and other dirt in the nightstand drawer. And the absolute worst of the worst was the biggest nasty stain under the second bed on the mattress. We called the night attendant, Jared, down to look at it in person. He came down and got all weird on us. He said he could see the dirt and that we were doing a full bed check. He didn't offer to do anything for us in terms of giving us a different room. And when I could tell it wasn't registering I asked him for a refund. He told me he wouldn't refund the money that my dogs had already sat on the bed. It's a pet friendly hotel and we paid the nightly fee for both of our pets. It's not a big room and we hadn't even been in it for five minutes. Where would you think pets would sleep in a pet friendly hotel? My dogs are cleaner than that place has been in 10 years! The statement that takes the cake and absolutely made my jaw hit the floor is that Jared told us we "just needed to get into bed and go to sleep!!" Ummmmm I DONT THINK SO! I've only seen one place worse than this and all my travels over decades. I would avoid this place like the plague. Cleaning people suck and Managment clearly doesn't care or want to do anything to make anything right for somebody. . Spread the word! My husband said he felt dirty just walking out of there.

Lscking in some basics. Electrical outlet in room lacked a cover plate. Tissue box only had 3 tissues Had to hold handle of toilet until it flushed. Foyer light in room did not work. No hot water for tea at breakfast. No elevator. Bath tub slow to drain GOOD POiNTS Room and bathroom were clean Close to restaurants

No curtains on the windows…Seriously?! No elevator, Either. See-through curtains are not curtains. I want my money back. I can sleep in my car if I don’t want curtains. SMH. Who thinks this is acceptable????

9.5 hours on the road was enough for me. Hungry and tired, we just needed food and a quiet place to sleep before heading on. Beds were not comfortable and the side door slamming shut woke me up a few times. Great showers and pet friendly. Also has breakfast. All and all, not too bad for the price.

Highly recommend this one for a business trip, family trip or stopover. This Quality Inn front desk evening clerk was so helpful after a long drive. Our room was clean, comfortable and everything was in good working order. Nice breakfast was hot and sufficient. All staff was pleasant and accommodating. This one is on our “will be back” list.
